First we will learn about the basics of electricity, how circuits work and build basic circuits that can light up LED's and make simple switches.
Then we will learn about more advanced ciruits and using conductivity to make unique circuits with something called a MakeyMakey.
Finally we will work with a ciruit board called an arduino, which has the ability to be coded to make unique devices for more advanced technology.
Students will learn about the science and technology behind using AV equipment. From ADC to amplitude and frequency, students will learn the why and how of recording equipment.
Students will learn how to use Arduino's, which are a fun little circuit board you can program with coding. We will make all kinds of fun little projects using something called a Micro|bit.
Students will learn how text coding, specifically Python coding, to program a more advanced Arduino circuit board. This will be a more challenging lesson we will learn how to use our math and science skills in a new way.
How we solve problems: Use this to help you remember the Engineering Design Process and how we can solve problems!
How you Participate in class: This is a quiz you will do everyday where you will focus on the Learning Target and the Successful Criteria and then turn in every week.
